Volunteer Opportunities

Are you interested in presenting a seminar to our residents utilizing a special skill? Examples may include budgeting, exercise, nutrition, cooking, car maintenance, tutoring, etc. Come share your knowledge with our residents.

We receive and distribute clothing and household items to the needy. Our volunteers sort clothing, and assist in filling orders that are given to area families.

There are annual spring and fall intense cleaning days along with routine maintenance of the home.

If you enjoy gardening, we could use your talent at both The Hannah Center and the Healing Place. Gardens need to be planted, watered and weeded.

Mentors provide friendship and companionship to our residents. If you are interested to becoming a mentor to a resident contact our office.

Join our list of volunteers who help with special projects, such as our Giving For Life Banquet, manning the Brat Stand at Festival Foods, or general office help, such as preparing mailings.

Our volunteers provide childcare to our resident’s children while they attend classes or appointments.
